ADVENT and Christmas
The Season of Advent, is the beginning of the church year. The symbol of Advent is the advent wreath with its four candles to mark the four Sundays of Advent. We begin the season by first lighting one candle and then we move through the season of Advent by lighting more candles as a holy reminder to us that the Light of Christ is with us.
Advent is a time when we prepare ourselves for the coming of Christ. It is meant to be a time of reflection and a time set aside to renew our connection to Christ.
Observing Advent & Christmas during a pandemic...
things will be a little different, but we have a few worship options for you to chose from... In-Car, Online.
We will continue our annual tradition of sponsoring a local family for Christmas. This year we are asking for monetary donations so we can provide gift cards to the family to buy the children's gifts. You can put donations in offertory on Sunday, mail to church, donate online by clicking "Donate Now" above, or contact Deacon Chris.
